BEFORE CONTACTING A SERVICE
When your air conditioner shows a code.
A display code alone does not identify a definite fault or a part to replace. It needs to be read together with the unit’s brand and model.
Start by recording these details.
- Record the exact letters, numbers and any flashing pattern. A photograph of the display can help.
- Find the brand and model number on an accessible product label. Do not dismantle the unit to reach a label.
- Note when the code appeared and any symptoms, such as poor cooling, water leaks, noise or failure to start.
- Check the explanation in your model’s user manual. Do not apply a code table from another brand or model.
Not every display message is a fault.
Manufacturers may also use codes for filter reminders or operating status. The meaning should be checked in the unit’s own manual. We therefore do not use one universal code list for all air conditioners.
What should you share with a service?
Start with the brand, model, a photo of the code, the symptoms and your neighbourhood. We can discuss inspection and appointments for units in Fethiye, Seydikemer or Kaş. Tekeli Soğutma is an independent service; for units under warranty, check the manufacturer’s authorized service conditions.
