BEFORE YOUR VISIT
COOL, DRY, FAN and AUTO: Which AC mode should you use?
The operating mode tells the AC what to do. Cooling a room, reducing humidity and circulating air are different tasks. A working unit may disappoint if the selected mode does not match your needs.

Use COOL when the room is hot
COOL is the cooling mode, with a temperature setting and, where supported, fan-speed control. Lowering the displayed temperature while in FAN mode does not start cooling. Check that the indoor unit responds to the command, not just that the remote display changes.
Consider DRY when humidity is the problem
DRY aims to reduce moisture in the air. Limited temperature or fan controls can be normal on some models. If your Fethiye home feels clammy without being particularly hot, consult the DRY instructions. Do not assume it always uses less electricity or maintains a fixed humidity level.
Does FAN bring in outdoor air?
FAN circulates room air in a standard wall-mounted split system. It does not replace ventilation unless the model has a separate outdoor-air feature. Check the model specifications for that feature; a fan symbol alone does not indicate fresh-air supply.
Are AUTO mode and automatic fan the same?
AUTO operating mode may select heating or cooling automatically. AUTO in the fan settings controls airflow speed. Check which setting you are changing in the manual. If comfort remains poor in the correct mode, share a photo of the settings during a service enquiry.
