When should you service your air conditioner?
Before you start using your AC regularly again, check when it was last serviced and the condition of its filters. Follow the unit’s manual and consider how often you use it and the conditions in the room. One schedule will not suit every unit.

Before summer or before winter?
If you use your AC in Fethiye only for cooling, review its condition before summer use. If you also use it for heating, check the filters and the unit again in autumn. Whether it needs a paid service each season depends on its condition.
If you do not know when it was last serviced, tell us when booking. Its daily running time and any changes you have noticed help us discuss which checks are needed.
Filter cleaning and professional servicing
The filter is a part you may be able to clean or replace yourself, following the model’s manual. A blocked filter can restrict airflow. Check your own manual for how often to inspect it and whether it is washable.
Daikin’s general guidance for split and multi-split units recommends cleaning the filter every two weeks. This is not a professional servicing interval for every brand. Follow the model’s instructions for differences such as automatic cleaning functions and filter types.
Turn the unit off before cleaning and follow the manual’s instructions for disconnecting power. Do not dismantle internal parts or spray water onto electrical components. Ask a technician to carry out work beyond the user maintenance described in the manual.

When to arrange a check sooner
If your AC no longer cools as it did, leaks water indoors or has a persistent smell, describe the symptom when booking. We can tell whether cleaning is sufficient after inspecting the unit. Faults and parts that need replacement are assessed separately.

Stop using the unit and get technical help if there is a burning smell, smoke or repeated circuit-breaker trips. Switch it off if water is leaking and do not touch wet electrical parts.
